Job Description - SALES ENGINEER

Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the building and construction industry.
Actively prospect and engage potential customers through networking, referrals, cold calling, and site visits.
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, building owners, facility managers, and other industry stakeholders.
Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical and commercial solutions.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotations, and proposals to prospective clients.
Follow up on sales enquiries and negotiate commercial terms to achieve successful business closures.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall growth objectives of the company.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and business opportunities.
Requirements
Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident preferred.
Diploma in Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of sales or business development experience within the building, construction, M&E, or related industries.
Experience in the fire protection, fire safety, or fire engineering industry will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of the local building and construction market.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
Possess strong customer relationship management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Possession of a valid Class 3 driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
