Sales Support Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team in preparing accurate quotations, proposals, and sales documents to support customer acquisition
• Follow up on customer inquiries and sales opportunities to maintain engagement and drive sales growth
• Coordinate with customers to confirm order details and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain and update customer records to ensure accurate sales follow-up and data integrity
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet customer requirements
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery
• Monitor order status and provide regular updates to customers and sales coordinators to manage expectations
• Prepare sales follow-up reports to track performance and support decision-making
• Maintain organized filing systems and documentation related to sales activities for easy retrieval and compliance

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems to manage sales and order processing tasks effectively
• Strong command of IT tools and shipping software to support sales and logistics coordination
• Ability to work precisely and meet objectives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English to communicate clearly with international customers and internal teams

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience serving marine customers for 6 months to 1 year to understand industry-specific needs and customer expectations
• Additional language skills to enhance communication with diverse international clients
