Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and organized Insurance Secretary to provide administrative and operational support to our financial advisory team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to financial consultants and management.
* Prepare insurance application forms and ensure documentation is complete.
* Follow up with clients regarding outstanding documents and policy requirements.
* Coordinate medical examinations, underwriting requirements, and policy issuance.
* Assist with policy servicing, claims, nominations, and beneficiary updates.
* Schedule appointments, meetings, and client reviews.
* Maintain accurate client records and ensure data confidentiality.
* Liaise with insurance companies, medical providers, and business partners.
* Prepare reports and monitor outstanding cases.
* Handle incoming calls, emails, and client enquiries professionally.
* Support event planning, seminars, and client appreciation activities.
Requirements
* Diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in insurance or financial services is an advantage.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Meticulous with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualities
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Customer-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Familiarity with insurance systems and policy administration is an advantage.
