Nurse Educator

As a Nurse Educator, you will play a key role in designing, delivering, and enhancing learning initiatives that empower nursing teams to achieve clinical excellence. Working closely with nursing leaders and multidisciplinary stakeholders, you will drive education strategies, competency development, and evidence-based practice across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Learning & Professional Development

• Design, implement, and evaluate nursing education and staff development programmes.
• Develop training roadmaps aligned with organizational and clinical objectives.
• Create engaging learning experiences through classroom training, workshops, simulations, and e-learning platforms.
• Review and update nursing curricula to reflect current healthcare practices and standards.
• Lead orientation and onboarding programmes for nursing staff and students.
• Mentor clinical instructors and support the professional growth of nursing teams.
• Collaborate with educational institutions and healthcare partners on training initiatives and student development.

Clinical Excellence & Quality Improvement

• Promote evidence-based nursing practices and competency development.
• Review and enhance clinical competency frameworks, policies, and assessment tools.
• Support quality improvement projects, nursing research, and organizational initiatives.
• Monitor training effectiveness and implement continuous improvement plans to enhance learning outcomes.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Provide professional guidance and coaching to nursing staff.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders on nursing education matters.
• Contribute to strategic planning, programme development, and educational initiatives.
• Support the development of innovative learning solutions and digital education platforms.

Requirements

• Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse with valid SNB registration and BCLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Nurse Educator role or equivalent experience in nursing education and training.
• Strong background in clinical nursing practice with experience in competency development and staff training.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing healthcare professionals.
