Shipping Officer / Executive

FIRST GRADE AGENCY PTE LTD is an import/export company in Singapore.

We are looking for a Shipping Officer for our import and export / transshipment operations. Shipping experience preferred. We will provide comprehensive on-the-job training. We are looking for someone who is organized, meticulous and willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities

·                    Prepare and process shipping and import/export and transshipment documentation

·                    Liaise withoverseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics partners regarding shipment arrangements.

·                    Coordinate with bonded warehouse operators and transport providers to ensure timely movement of goods from the warehouse to port.

·                    Track shipment schedules and monitor cargo arrival dates.

·                    Assist with customs clearance and regulatory documentation.

·                    Liaise with government agencies such as Singapore Customs when required.

·                    Ensure all shipping records and documents are properly filed and maintained.

·                    Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

·                    Shipping experience preferred. Training will be provided.

·                    Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

·                    Able to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.

·                    Comfortable communicating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.

·                    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
