Social Work Associate - Rise Above

Job Description:

• Attend to overall administration of cases and programmes including documentation of client profile database, forms, minutes of meetings, logistics production and management 
• Provide casework administrative support across residents’ case journey, from pre-emplacement (interviews, home visits, documents, slides) through their time at the Halfway House (briefings, SSO applications, social reports), co-facilitation of STAR groupwork sessions with Social Workers/Case Managers, post-discharge alumni follow-up 
• Plan, coordinate and execute pro-social events, outreach activities and community service projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders 
• Liaise and maintain professional communication with external partners and referral sources (e.g. prisons, social service agencies, training providers, employers) to support residents’ rehabilitation and reintegration 
• Support monthly reporting and administrative requirements, including meetings with SPS, programme attendance submissions, and updating of masterlists and calendars 
• Coordinate family visit bookings and communications, and support the management of volunteers, donations-in-kind, and disbursement of vouchers/incentives to residents 
• Prepare, collate and manage necessary documents, relevant data and statistics for monitoring, reporting and evaluation purposes to ensure the smooth provision administration and programmes of the halfway house 
• Provide supplementary support in management of facilities and equipment, office supplies and programme logistics 

Requirements:

 • Minimum GCE ‘A’ Level OR Diploma, with preferably 2 years related or relevant work experience in halfway house programme or similar facility 

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in similar sector 

• Comfortable and good knowledge of basic IT tools (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Zoom and any other platforms etc) 

• Good interpersonal, communication skills and an appreciation for women ex-offender’s rehabilitation journey 

• Excellent team player & able to work independently
