1. Student Incident Management
• Respond promptly to student management cases, including:
o Theft
o Physical altercations and fights
o Bullying and cyberbullying incidents
o Vandalism
o Misconduct and breaches of school rules
o Other student welfare and behavioural concerns
• Gather accurate and objective information regarding incidents.
• Conduct preliminary investigations and establish timelines of events.
• Ensure all students involved are treated with fairness, respect, and confidentiality.
2. Investigation and Fact-Finding
• Interview students involved in incidents using appropriate
questioning and communication techniques.
• Interview witnesses and other relevant parties to obtain a
comprehensive understanding of events.
• Collect and review evidence where applicable, including:
o Written statements
o CCTV footage
o Photographs
o Digital communications and records
o Other relevant documentation
• Identify inconsistencies and clarify information through follow-up interviews.
• Maintain neutrality and objectivity throughout investigations.
3. Documentation and Reporting
• Prepare clear, accurate, and professional investigation reports.
• Summarise findings, evidence gathered, statements obtained, and timelines of events.
• Highlight key concerns, risk factors, and recommended follow-up actions.
• Submit reports to Key Personnel (KPs), Year Heads, HODs, Vice-Principals, or Principal for further decision-making and intervention.
4. Student Engagement and Support
• Build positive relationships with students to facilitate open communication.
• Exercise empathy while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Support students in reflecting on their actions and understanding consequences.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, school counsellors, SEN Officers, and school leaders to support student development and well-being.
5. Collaboration with School Staff
• Provide timely updates to relevant Key Personnel regardingongoing cases.
• Coordinate with teachers to gather contextual information while minimising disruption to classroom teaching.
• Support school leaders in implementing follow-up actions arising from investigations.
6. Record Management
• Maintain confidential records of incidents, investigations, and outcomes.
• Ensure documentation complies with school policies and data protection requirements.
• Monitor trends and recurring issues and provide reports to school leaders where necessary.
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm (Work is not required during June & December school holidays)
