Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the full operations of a commercial laundry facility operating 7 days a week.
• Lead a team of production workers, supervisors, drivers, and administrative staff.
• Ensure daily production targets are achieved under tight deadlines.
• Monitor machine utilization, preventive maintenance schedules, and breakdown troubleshooting.
• Handle manpower planning, recruitment, training, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
• Manage inventory of chemicals, detergents, linen, uniforms, and consumables.
• Liaise with hotels, healthcare institutions, industrial customers, and suppliers.
• Prepare operational reports, productivity analysis, costing, and budget forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and hygiene regulations.
• Respond to operational emergencies outside normal working hours when required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of commercial laundry or industrial manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience overseeing at least 30 employees.
• Strong knowledge of industrial laundry machinery, steam boilers, water treatment systems, and chemical dosing systems.
• Experience managing large-scale laundry operations processing more than 20 tonnes daily.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and be on-call after office hours.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with customers, suppliers, and operations teams.
• Experience in productivity improvement, cost reduction, and workflow optimization preferred.

Working Hours:

• 6 days work week
• Monday to Saturday
• 8:00am to 6:00pm
• Additional hours required based on operational needs.
