Key Roles
Direct Student Support
Provide direct supervision of 15 to 20 higher-needs students
Manage identified students during recesses
Provide mandatory skills training for students with poor behaviour or attitude towards peers (e.g., calming activities, social skills development, friendship restoration)
Work closely with the Year Head (YH) and Head of Department (HOD SM) to identify students for skills training, intervention, or recess/after-school check-ins
Leverage Peer Support Leaders (PSL) as positive influencers during recess
Data and Operations Support
Support data analysis using tools such as Connectogram, school discipline records, and level-to-level transition data to identify behavioural trends and implement interventions
Assist in operations, including monitoring of Detention and Corrective Work Order (CWO) , and conduct guidance sessions after CWO
Support the initial stages of case management
Support ground duties after school
Conduct corridor checks during lesson changeovers
Attend CMT meetings (1 to 2 times per semester) to be familiar with identified students
Support SHINE 2.0, an after-school programme on Wednesdays
Requirement
A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Human Services, Education, Educational Studies, or an equivalent field
Certified training in Restorative Practices, Conflict Mediation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, or Positive Education
Stakeholder Collaboration: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with school leadership, Year Heads (YH), Heads of Department (HOD SM), and external programme coordinators
Peer Support Mentorship: Ability to guide and leverage Peer Support Leaders (PSL) to foster positive peer influence on the ground
Basic IT Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
School Environment: Preferably have at least 2 years of experience working in a local primary or secondary school as an Allied Educator (AED), Student Management Executive, or Student Behaviour/Discipline Specialist
Youth & Case Management: Proven experience in the initial stages of case management, handling at-risk youth, and managing students with additional socio-emotional or behavioural needs
Group Facilitation: Demonstrated experience in conducting small-group or one-on-one skills training (e.g., social skills, anger management, friendship restoration)
