Job Summary

The Beautician is responsible for delivering high-quality beauty and skincare treatments while ensuring exceptional customer service. The role involves assessing clients' beauty needs, performing treatments safely and professionally, promoting beauty products and services, and maintaining a hygienic and welcoming salon environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of beauty treatments, including facials, skin rejuvenation, deep cleansing, hydration treatments, waxing, eyebrow grooming, and other beauty services.

• Evaluate clients' skin conditions and recommend suitable treatment plans and skincare products.

• Explain treatment procedures, expected results, and aftercare instructions to clients.

• Operate and maintain beauty equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms, equipment, and workstations.

• Build long-term relationships with clients by delivering personalized and attentive service.

• Promote and recommend beauty packages, memberships, and retail products to meet clients' needs.

• Record treatment details and maintain accurate client consultation records.

• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages of beauty products and consumables.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene regulations, and workplace health and safety standards.

• Attend product knowledge and skills training as required.

• Support daily salon operations and perform other duties assigned by the Salon Manager.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Aesthetics, Cosmetology, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a beauty salon, spa, or aesthetic centre.

• Strong knowledge of skincare treatments, facial techniques, and beauty products.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Passionate about customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
