ACMV Engineer/ Supervisor

Job Scope:

• Carryout preventive and corrective maintenance of ACMV systems, including air-conditioning units, FCUs, AHUs, CRAC, ventilation systems, exhaust systems, and associated equipment.
• Perform installation, replacement, upgrading, and commissioning of ACMV equipment and systems.
• Conduct troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of ACMV systems and implement effective corrective actions.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify defects, deterioration, and operational issues.
• Assess system performance and recommend necessary repairs, replacements, orimprovement works to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure all ACMV systems operate in compliance with applicable safety regulations, codes of practice, and company standards.
• Prepare maintenance reports, service records, inspection checklists, and other technical documentation related to work performed.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance, repair, and installation activities to ensure the timely completion of work.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders regarding maintenance and project requirements.
• Assist in the sourcing, evaluation, procurement, and inventory management of spare parts, tools, materials, and ACMV equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and recommend replenishment of critical spare parts and consumables.
• Participate in tender site visits and site surveys to assess project requirements and provide technical input for tender submissions.
• Support the preparation of quotations, technical proposals, and maintenance plans where required.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide technical training and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
• Ensure proper implementation of safe work procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work requirements.
• Attend emergency breakdowns and provide after-hours support when required.
• Maintain good housekeeping of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Perform any other ACMV-related duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 experience in ACMV installation, maintenance and repair.
• Education: ITE/ Diploma or equivalent in ACMV/ Electrical or related discipline.
