Architectural Manager

Background
Our client is an esteemed MNC in the Real Estate and Construction industry. They are looking for an astute Architectural Manager to oversee all Architectural matters of large-scale institutional/commercial mixed-use development project(s).

Job Description

• Overall responsibility and ownership of all Architectural design and construction works.
• Lead and manage a team of Architectural coordinators and BIM Modellers in the design and coordination works to ensure smooth execution of architectural construction works in line with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Study Architectural drawings and coordinate Architectural works with consultants and subcontractors to resolve any technical / site issues;
• Liaise closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of architectural designs;
• Architectural planning, coordination with consultants and document control such as monitoring of sample submission, approval status of drawing;
• Coordinating, organizing and preparing construction and architectural documents and drawings;
• Ensure Architectural works are carried out according to specifications / drawings;
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the production of construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions, ensuring timely approvals.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E, and interior design trades to resolve interface issues and ensure seamless integration;
• Monitor and supervise site Architectural works progress including subcontractors' deliverables and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and overall project schedule;
• Identify, manage, and resolve design discrepancies, technical issues, and site challenges during construction;
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and submission requirements (e.g. BCA, URA) and company standards;
• Attend technical and site meetings with consultants;
• Inform Project Director / Project Manager on any technical / site problems pertaining to Architectural works and provide corresponding solutions;
• Support Project Management Team in reporting, documentation, and coordination meetings.
• Promote workplace safety, quality, environmental and health compliance across all architectural works.

Requirements

• Min Bachelor degree in Architecture recognized by Board of Architects Singapore would be preferred.
• Min 12 years of experience in Architectural management and coordination role in equivalent construction organization
• Min 8 years of experience in managing the Design and Construction of high-rise building projects and large-scale institutional/commercial projects.
• Well-versed with local authority submission processes
• Familiarity with construction industry standards and regulatory requirements.
