Assistant BIM Manager, Mechanical

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a BIM team to ensure that the successful & timely delivery of the project is in accordance with the client’s expectations.

• Identify the scope of project deliverables & ensure timely delivery at each project milestone, monitor progress & take preventive/corrective action whenever necessary.

• Manage project implementation plan & budget, & also report progress on a regular basis to the management.

• Implement LOD 4, 5 and 6 in BIM. Time, cost, and asset tagging into the model.

• Link Revit model with Microsoft Project for collaboration between BIM, site progress and cost.

• Staff training in Navisworks / BIM

• Making use of Properties in BIM to hold equipment data and engineering data like selection, design, and commissioning information.

• Explore the use of applications in Revit to store instruments and controller ID and communication link. Possibly cable tagging as well.

• Explore duct and pipe friction loss calculations using BIM.

• Other assignments as and when assigned by supervising management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Building Construction

• 15 years hands-on working experience in M&E design coordination shop drawings / CSD / CBD / BIM Model and CAD drafting capable.

• Certification in BIM Management from BCA is preferred.

• Have high level of competency of BIM software through continued use, training, and assistance to project teams.

• Good Knowledge and experience with Singapore Authority submission, BIM Standards Authority and Authority submission process.

• Understand legislation on M&E works.

• Great leadership skills and able to communicate well with the team and stakeholders.
