Assistant Electrician

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Building Electrician to carry out electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out troubleshooting and repair of electrical faults.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
• Install, replace and maintain lighting fixtures, power points, switches, distribution boards and related electrical equipment.
• Attend to emergency electrical breakdowns and rectify faults promptly.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical installations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with Singapore safety regulations and standards.
• Prepare service reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Work independently or as part of a maintenance team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in building electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Able to use electrical testing instruments and hand tools.
• Able to work at heights when required.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Saturday.
• Must be willing to work on weekends, public holidays, overtime, and after office hours when required to attend emergency breakdowns and scheduled maintenance works.
