Assistant Engineer (Electrical & Automation)

• 5 days’ work week (Normal Working Hours)

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of engineering and system integration projects.

• Support equipment installation, testing, commissioning and system handover activities.

• Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance and fault rectification of installed systems.

• Support system configuration, equipment setup and functional testing.

• Prepare engineering documentation, reports, drawings and as-built documentation.

• Attend site surveys, project meetings and coordinate with customers, contractors and suppliers.

• Monitor project progress and ensure assigned tasks are completed according to schedule.

• Support engineers during site testing, commissioning and project execution.

• Ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with project requirements.

• Perform other engineering duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

• Candidate without experience are welcome to apply.

• Candidates with experience in electrical engineering, automation, instrumentation, control systems, networking, security systems or project engineering are encouraged to apply.

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or electrical drawings will be an advantage.

• Willing to travel to project sites across Singapore when required.
