Assistant Engineer / Engineer (Civil)

I’m partnering with a growing manufacturing company that is actively expanding across Southeast Asia.

This is an opportunity for a motivated Assistant Engineer / Engineer to join their  growing team. You will play a key role in translating structural designs into buildable outcomes — managing steel reinforcement take-offs, technical drawings, and coordinating with site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Extract bill of quantities (BQ) for steel reinforcements from structural drawings
• Prepare and manage schedules for technical drawing submissions and production
• Draft construction and shop drawings using AutoCAD
• Coordinate with site personnel on all technical matters
• Attend site meetings and discussions when required
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors on technical queries⸻

What My Client Is Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering, or equivalent qualification
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of other drafting software is advantageous
• Able to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications
• Responsible, self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant internship experience is an advantage
• Candidates with prior experience in rebar detailing or structural consultancy preferred
