Assistant Project Manager

• Assist project manager on project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Client’s expectations
• Monitoring progress and identifying critical activities to expedite smooth progress of works on site to meet targets.
• Implement and control project budgetary plans, as well as to manage contractual matters fully.
• Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Ensure that organization and government standards on safety are met and ensure customer safety & quality specifications are consistently met.
• Co-ordinate with the clients, sub-contractors and consultants on all project matters.
• Familiar with Authority submissions and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure site team of engineers, supervisors, foremen and workers comply with client & regulatory requirements
• To assist management in monitoring the effectiveness of the risk control measures.
• To recommend appropriate risk control measures to reduce or eliminate the risk identified assessment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (recognized by PEB).
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in project management for building projects.
• Knowledge of best practices in Construction Project Management
• Accredited with Construction Professional Accreditation Scheme (CPAS) is preferred
• Good analytical mind with good organization and communication skills
• Independent, organized with positive work attitude, strong sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and dynamic with a proven ability to work in a demanding environment
