Assistant Project Manager (Electrical / District Cooling Chiller Plant)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assistant / Project Manager to lead and deliver district cooling / chiller plant projects. You will play a key role in managing project execution from planning through completion, ensuring timelines, cost, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, and coordination of all project phases.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments, clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors to review designs and implement recovery plans promptly.
• Assist the Project Manager in contract administration, including claims, variations, disputes, and final accounts.
• Provide on-the-job training to new project staff, monitor performance, and offer guidance during work execution.
• Prepare and submit regular management reports on project progress, timelines, and targets.
• Oversee safety compliance for assigned projects and ensure all activities adhere to MOM Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant managerial experience in M&E services.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes of practice for building services.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
• Certified in Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course.
• Strong technical competency in electrical and M&E project scope.
