Assistant Project Manager (Steel Structural Works, Subcontractor)

Job Requirements:

• To assist Project Manager in supervising and coordinating the site construction team for permanent steel structures.

• Ensure strict implementation of safe work procedures and maintain a high standard of site safety.

• Conduct regular site safety meetings and enforce safety measures on construction site.

• Implement and review construction methodology specific to steel structure fabrication and erection, including feasibility studies of construction sequences.

• Closely monitor project operations to ensure timely completion within schedule and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Update Management and the team daily on project progress, highlighting key milestones and challenges.

• Organise and manage project resources (e.g. manpower, machinery, equipment, materials) for projects.

• Perform other related duties as assigned, in line with project progress.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant local experience in construction industry

• Experiences in permanent steel structure construction/ structural steel works will be advantageous

• Proven track record in completing projects involving structural works

• Willingness to work on construction sites and travel across Singapore as required
