Assistant Shift Charge Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties and responsibilities are stipulated, but not limited to, as follows: -

• Responsible for the whole plant instrument control, control a variety of power-generation equipment and machinery during normal operation, scheduled maintenance and emergency repair procedures

• Observes operation of installation for conformance with operational standards

• Inspects completed installations for conformance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards

• Programs and monitors boiler controls for proper operation

• Responsible for resolving technical equipment issues as they occur

• Responsible for the whole plant-related electrical equipment, operation status, monitoring and maintenance

• Responsible for testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products and instruments

• Assure the operation and maintenance works are aligned with the internal and contractual requirements an needs

• Any other duties and responsibilities to be assigned by Supervisor, Operation Manager and the Management from time to time within the JE Group.

Job Requirements

• A team player.

• Independent and possess sound analytical and communication skills.

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.

• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

• At least 5 year relevant experience in power plant operations, or related industries, is advantageous.

• Fluency in Mandarin will be an advantage as the role involves dealing with mandarin-speaking counterparts.
