BIM Coordinator

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Information Management & Coordination

•   Develop and execute the Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP) in alignment with the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and project milestones.

•   Coordinate and facilitate comprehensive clash detection across all disciplines utilising Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Build.

•   Review and validate design models, construction models, as-built models, model-based Room Layout Sheets(RLS), and Room Data Sheets (RDS) in strict accordance with project CDE and the CBEP.

•   Instruct and monitor Model Authors to incorporate the latest design changes, revisions, and construction instructions accurately and expeditiously.

•   Ensure all major elements and first-fix MEP services are virtually clash-free prior to any information exchange or milestone submission.

Quality Assurance & Standards Compliance

•   Conduct systematic model quality checks encompassing visual, interference, model integrity, and design review checks utilising Revit, and Navisworks.

•   Generate schedules and quantity take-offs for fabrication and procurement, including door schedules, precast elements, MEP spaces, and equipment registers.

•   Ensure the quality and integrity of all model information conforms to prescribed standards prior to submission to the Employer's BIM Studio.

CDE Governance & Digital Delivery

•   Govern the Common Data Environment (CDE) in compliance with ISO 19650-2:2018, maintaining rigorous information state controls (WIP / Shared / Published / Archive) on Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC Build).

•   Implement and support IDD use cases including Digital RFIs, Integrated Concurrent Engineering (ICE), Digital QA/QC Inspections, Digital Progress Monitoring, and Digital Defects Management.

•   Coordinate for Room Data Management, ensuring BIM data integrity across Schedule of Accommodation, RDS/RLS workflows, and asset information deliverables.

•   Support BIM-based 4Dscheduling, 5D cost estimation (Cubicost), and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) workflows as required.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting

•   Liaise effectively with the Employer (MOHH), Consultants, Contractors, Sub-contractors, and Lead Specialists throughout the construction stage.

•   Participate substantively in BIM Collaboration Meetings, ICE sessions, technical meetings, and coordination meetings.

•   Prepare periodic progress reports and maintain accurate BIM submission packaging for each stage and milestone review.

•   Support the BIM Manager to ensure all project digital deliverables and IDD outcomes are consistently met and documented.

2. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

•   Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent discipline.

•   Professional certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM Manager Certificate, or equivalent) is a significant advantage.

3. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

•   Minimum 3–5 years of substantive experience in a BIM Coordinator, Information Manager, or equivalent role on large-scale construction projects.

•   Demonstrable experience in healthcare, institutional, or complex mixed-use projects is highly desirable.

•   Proven track record in multidisciplinary BIM coordination, clash detection, and information management on projects procured under IDD or similar integrated delivery frameworks.

4. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

•   Proficient in Autodesk Revit2026 (modelling, coordination, and documentation workflows).

•   Proficient in Navisworks (clash detection, model federation, and 4D simulation).

•   Proficient in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC Build) for CDE management, issue tracking, RFIs, and digital submissions.

•   Sound working knowledge of ISO19650-2:2018, the Singapore BIM Guide (v2), and IDD Technical Guidelines.

•   Competency in IFC, DWF/DWFx, and NWD/NWC exchange formats.
