BIM Designer (C&S)

We are seeking a BIM Designer (Civil & Structural) to join our engineering team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating BIM models and construction documentation for civil and structural engineering works on complex, high-tech projects. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate, coordinated, and high-quality design models throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain Civil & Structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.

• Produce detailed engineering drawings, shop drawings, GA drawings, and construction documentation in accordance with project requirements.

• Coordinate BIM models with architectural, MEP, process, and other engineering disciplines to identify and resolve design clashes.

• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support clash detection using Navisworks or similar software.

• Ensure BIM models comply with company BIM standards, client requirements, and Singapore regulatory guidelines.

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation, calculations, schedules, and material quantities.

• Support design development from concept through detailed design and construction stages.

• Maintain model accuracy, data integrity, and revision control throughout project execution.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective project coordination.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives relating to BIM workflows and digital engineering practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Information Modelling, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2–5 years of BIM modelling or drafting experience in Civil & Structural engineering projects.

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit (Structure) and AutoCAD.

• Experience using Navisworks Manage for clash detection and BIM coordination is preferred.

• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ISO 19650 standards, and Singapore BIM submission requirements is advantageous.

• Experience working on industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data centre, advanced manufacturing, or large-scale commercial projects will be an advantage.

• Good understanding of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and foundation detailing.

• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

• Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, or Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.

• Experience with Dynamo or other BIM automation tools is an advantage.

• Understanding of local authority requirements and construction practices in Singapore.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
