BIM Manager

Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 construction firms which has a strong construction portfolio in public sector building projects. In view of expansion plans, they are looking for Assistant Project Manager with innovative thoughts to participate in company transformation projects.

Job Description:

· Attend and chair VDC and technical meetings with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors.

· Define and implement BIM execution plans, requirements, workflows, and processes to meet project deliverables for industrial construction projects.

· Perform quality checks on models prepared by BIM coordinators and authors.

· Lead, guide, and support BIM coordinators and modelers to deliver high-quality work on schedule.

· Collaborate with the project team to coordinate, organize, and produce shop drawings and documentation using BIM technologies.

· Conduct regular coordination meetings to address BIM-related issues, including clashes and technical challenges.

· Develop and execute strategic plans for effective BIM implementation in industrial projects.

· Design training programs for BIM coordinators and modelers to enhance proficiency in BIM authoring tools.

· Provide training for department managers and engineers to strengthen BIM adoption.

· Promote innovation by introducing advanced tools and technologies to broaden BIM usage within the company.

· Lead a team of structural, architectural coordinators, and BIM modelers.

· Plan, organize, and oversee the preparation of submission and construction drawings.

· Coordinate and collaborate with contract stakeholders and interfacing parties’ BIM managers or coordinators.

· Set up, manage, and carry out clash detection analysis to identify, resolve, and validate design and construction conflicts.

· Maintain and track records of all model updates and changes.

· Establish clash detection matrices and 3D coordination schedules.

· Prepare, update, and maintain clash detection reports to ensure design and construction conflicts are fully resolved.

· Supervise BIM coordinators to ensure compliance with BIM deliverables and information exchange timelines.

· Oversee modelers/technical coordinators in preparing accurate drawings.

· Ensure all models and drawings meet BIM standards, workflows, and quality checklists.

· Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Requirements:

· Degree in Architecture, Civil, M&E or relevant field

· Min 8 years of BIM experience on building projects

· Knowledge in BIM software (Revit, Autocad, Navisworks)

· Positive working attitude
