BIM Manager (Infrastructure/Civil & Structural)

Job Description:

• Responsible for ensuring that both Employers Information Requirements (EIR) and Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) are implemented on site;
• Responsible for ensuring the capability of Contractors & sub-contractor BIM team are within the EIR documents & to the BEP;
• Responsible for ensuring that all related infrastructure and facilities are coordinated in BIM Model before the commencement of actual works on site;
• Responsible for ensuring that all Shop Drawings/Construction drawings are coordinated & updated in BIM Models before commencement of actual works on site;
• Work with the project team to review BIM models and relevant deliverables submitted by contractors;
• Work with various stakeholders and project teams to identify and resolve technical issues submitted by contractors;
• Report and present progress and status with regard to BIM implementation and BIM-related submission by the Contractor;
• Regular meetings with the CE BIM stakeholders to share knowledge, recent experiences, and ideas and mitigate risks so as to best serve the wider groups and future projects
• Any other duties deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Civil & Structural engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in working on mid-large scale infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil drafting using AutoCAD, Revit and BIM preferably from Construction industry.
• Ability to work independently and target oriented in a stressful environment.
• Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate initiative and commitment.
• To be able to work effectively with Internal staff including Site Foreman, Supervisors, Engineers, Managers and Client’s BIM representatives.
