Job Description

• 3D Modeling: Develop and manage detailed 3D discipline-specific models (Architectural, Structural, or MEP/ELV) using Autodesk Revit according to project BIM execution plans (BEP).

• Drawing Production: Extract and prepare 2D construction drawings, shop drawings, sectional details, and as-built drawings directly from the BIM model for site installation.

• Clash Detection: Run spatial coordination and clash analysis using Navisworks, identify interferences across different trades, and propose technical solutions to the engineering team.

• Model Maintenance: Ensure BIM models are updated promptly with any site variations, Request for Information (RFI) clarifications, and design amendments throughout the project life cycle.

• Standards & Compliance: Adhere to company BIM standards, project modeling protocols, and Singapore's regulatory frameworks (BCA electronic submission guidelines).

• Documentation: Create and maintain Revit families, custom components, and model documentation templates for project efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related built-environment discipline.

• BIM Training: Certification in BIM (Revit) or specialized BIM modeling courses from recognized institutions (e.g., BCA Academy) is highly advantageous.

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of hands-on BIM modeling experience in Singapore-based construction, main-con, or consultancy environments.

• Software Proficiency:

  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage and AutoCAD.

• Technical Knowledge: Well-versed in reading architectural blueprints and engineering design intents. Familiarity with local building codes, statutory requirements, and Corenet e-submission standards.

• Soft Skills: Collaborative mindset, attentive to detail, and able to work under tight project deadlines alongside site project teams.
