Job Description - BIM MODELLER

Develop detailed 3D BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks from 2D drawings, sketches, and specifications

Model MEP systems: ducting, piping, cable trays, equipment, hangers, and supports

Produce fabrication/shop drawings, GA drawings, and material take-offs from the BIM model

Ensure models comply with company CAD/BIM standards, layering, naming conventions, and LOD requirements

Attend BIM coordination meetings and prepare clash reports for project team

Update model based on site changes, and design revisions

Support site team with model-based installation guidance and as-built modelling

Assist in 4D/5D simulation and quantity extraction when required

Conduct regular quality checks and audits of BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company and project standards
Maintain organized BIM documentation, version control, and file management
Troubleshoot and resolve any BIM-related issues or challenges that arise during the modeling process
Provide technical support and guidance on BIM software and workflows to other team members as needed
