BUILDING CONSTRUCTION GENERAL FOREMAN

Job Summary

Assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily construction site operations, ensuring safety compliance, managing workers, resolving disputes, and reporting progress to support successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in managing daily construction site operations to ensure smooth workflow and project progress
• Develop detailed work schedules for construction workers to optimize resource allocation and meet project timelines
• Supervise construction workers on-site to maintain productivity and quality standards
• Resolve disputes between workers promptly to maintain a collaborative and efficient work environment
• Inspect workers’ personal protective equipment and safety gear to enforce compliance with company safety policies
• Act as the liaison between construction workers and supervisors to facilitate clear communication and coordination
• Report construction progress and site updates to managers and quantity surveyors to support informed decision-making
• Apply knowledge of structural work to support construction activities and ensure adherence to technical requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience as a site supervisor

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in reinforced concrete (RC) and civil construction works
• Demonstrate responsibility, teamwork, proactivity, and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
