BUILDING PAINTER

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Painter to prepare and paint walls, ceilings, buildings, and other surfaces. The successful candidate will prepare surfaces, mix paints, apply finishes, and ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Read work instructions and prepare surfaces for painting.
• Scrape, sand, and remove old paint.
• Fill cracks and holes using suitable materials.
• Mix paint to achieve the correct color and finish.
• Apply paint, varnish, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Set up scaffolding and protect surrounding areas before painting.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all workplace health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painter.
• Knowledge of painting materials, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to work at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
• Good attention to detail and quality of work.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
