building supervisor

1- Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate workers, subcontractors, and site activities. This includes assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and resolving conflicts.

2- Safety Oversight: Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct site inspections, and ensure all team members follow proper procedures.

3- Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with building codes and project specifications.

4- Logistics & Resources: Manage the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment. Ensure everything is available and in working order.

5- Attending all meetings, training, and in-services as required, and being receptive to professional and personal development

6- Planning and conducting a preventive maintenance program; training new employees; maintaining adequate levels of janitorial and maintenance supplies; as well as keeping records and preparing reports

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in supervisor
• Diploma / degree preferred
• Flexibility to answer to a range of work situations
• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office
• Considerable knowledge of the occupational hazards and desirable safety precautions of the work
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and department officials
• Ability to delegate tasks and supervise the performance of others.
• Experience in the construction industry required.
• Experience in a leadership role recommended.
• Valid driving license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
