Building Technician (Woodlands)

Job responsibilities:

• Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of building facilities and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and air-conditioning systems.
• Troubleshoot and rectify technical faults and building defects.
• Attend promptly to maintenance requests, complaints, and emergency breakdowns.
• Monitor building systems such as lighting, fire protection systems, lifts, pumps, and HVAC systems.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors during servicing and repair works.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, service reports, and inspections.
• Support building operations and ensure facilities are maintained in optimal condition.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of the premises.

Pre-requisites:

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in building maintenance or facilities management preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, and plumbing systems.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and respond to emergencies when required.
• Willing to perform hands-on maintenance work.
• Possession of relevant certifications will be an advantage.
• Working location: Woodlands
• 8.00am - 5.00pm (Alternate Saturday)
