Business Development Manager (Construction)

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading international geotechnical and foundation engineering specialist in Singapore.

Our client is a globally recognised engineering and construction organisation specialising in geotechnical solutions, foundation engineering and ground improvement works. With operations across multiple countries and a strong track record in delivering complex infrastructure, industrial and commercial projects, the company is widely regarded as a market leader in the ground engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within the construction and infrastructure sectors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key industry stakeholders
• Achieve sales and profitability targets
• Gather market intelligence and monitor industry trends and upcoming projects
• Review tender opportunities and participate in bid strategy discussions
• Lead negotiations on commercial and contractual terms
• Collaborate closely with engineering, tender and operations teams to develop competitive proposals
• Support and mentor team members where required

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 8 to 12 years of relevant business development experience in the construction industry
• Strong exposure to geotechnical engineering, ground improvement or foundation works
• Good understanding of tendering, contract negotiation and project delivery
• Established network within the construction and infrastructure sectors
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
