Business Development Manager (Geotechnical)

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in developing a client network, sourcing for enquiries and winning projects.

Responsibilities

• Bring onboard new clients, projects and reach targets that hit defined sales and profitability goals
• Gather market intelligence, develop client network, and foster strong client relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of industry and competitive landscape.
• Review of bid proposal from tender team and make decision in consultation with director.
• Serve as Bid Manager for large size projects.
• Able to integrate within the BD team and collaborate with other departments.
• Lead negotiation with client on bid and contract terms & conditions.
• Engage and develop tender and business development team to achieve work targets through coaching, group learning and performance management.
• Develop and protect company’s brand, corporate image, and reputation.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by superior.
• Familiar with Office 365 suite and proficient in MS Office.
• Sound understanding of market business standard and practice and Keller framework.
• Understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of the projects.
• Strong leadership skill in teambuilding and managing team members in line with company’s mission and vision.
• Strong in convincing and getting the buy-in from the Management and external stakeholders.
• Strong decision making and conflicts / disputes management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiating skills.
• Good networking skill.

Requirements:

• Possess at least Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 8-12 years of working experience.
• Relevant experience in Construction industry especially in Ground Improvement works will be an advantage.
• Has geotechnical design experience and competent to manage geotechnical solutioning.
