CAD Design Engineer - Construction

Job Description

• Prepare drawing based on engineer requirement and authorities requirement
• Drawings amendment and drafting in AutoCAD
• Must be able to travel to construction site to gather data and consult with builders and architects, to collect data regarding equipment or to other job site where CAD drawings will be used.
• Monitors compliance with building codes throughout the construction process.
• Reviews engineering data to ensure compliance with the original design plans.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal oversight.
• Explain drawing to construction teams and engineers to provide adjustments as necessary.

Requirements

• Min Degree in Building Management or Construction Management (Civil Engineering or equivalent)
• Good skills to run FEM analysis (e.g. Plaxis-2D or 3D) and calculate mechanics using Eurocode for ERSS & Pile design related to shallow/deep excavation
• Must be familiar with shop drawing
