C&S Engineer/Coordinator

Job Description & Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with C&S consultants to develop and refine structural schemes for buildings and structures.
• Prepare technical submissions and project quality plans for tender projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
• Conduct engineering design in accordance with Eurocodes or other relevant international design codes.
• Assist in preparing permit /ST applications for design approval with authorities.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Effectively represent the engineering team in project meetings with clients and consultants from other disciplines.
• Participate in site progress meetings, addressing technical queries from construction personnel.
• Review and approve structural drawings for accuracy and compliance with design standards.
• Design temporary works that are safe, cost-effective, and meet project requirements.
• Oversee he installation of structural components to ensure adherence to design specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering accredited by the Professional Engineering Board of Singapore.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in the construction industry with a demonstrated understanding of structural design principles.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant codes of practice, building regulations, and authority submission and approval procedures.
• Proficiency in engineering design software and analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritise deadlines.
