Job Summary

Perform precise carpentry tasks by measuring, cutting, and shaping materials according to project specifications. Interpret blueprints and plans to guide construction, maintain tools, ensure safety compliance, and prepare and clean job sites efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials to meet project specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to identify required materials and specifications
• Plan and layout structures based on project designs and technical specifications
• Maintain carpentry tools and equipment in good working condition to ensure reliable operation
• Follow health and safety regulations by using protective equipment and maintaining a safe work environment
• Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up tools, and organizing materials for efficient workflow
• Clean and organize the worksite after each job to uphold safety and orderliness

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter
• Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings accurately
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and installation methods
