Carpenter for construction site

Responsibilities:

o Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials as per the project's requirements.

o Blueprint and Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine the specifications and materials required.

o Knowledge of construction materials and techniques

o Plan the layout of structures based on the project’s design and specifications.

o Maintain carpentry tools and equipment in good working order.

o Ensure all work is carried out with precision and in line with safety regulations.

o Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including using protective equipment and ensuring a safe working environment.

o Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up tools, and gathering materials.

o Clean up the worksite after each job to maintain a safe and organized environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as carpenter

Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials

Excellent understand of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.

Ability to read technical and documents and drawings
