Civil and Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out civil and structural engineering design and analysis in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
• Develop and review engineering drawings and details using AutoCAD, Tekla Structural Designer or other relevant software.
• Coordinate and manage submissions to relevant authorities, including BCA, SCDF, URA, PUB, LTA, JTC, and other regulatory agencies.
• Liaise and coordinate with architects, contractors, clients, and government agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend project meetings, site inspections, and technical coordination sessions.
• Review shop drawings, construction methodologies, and contractor submissions.
• Provide technical support during construction and ensure compliance with approved design intent.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and delivery to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering consultancy (fresh graduates may also apply for junior positions).
• Familiar with Singapore codes, regulations, and authority submission procedures.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with structural design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, or similar will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of BIM/Revit will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
