Civil & Structural Engineer/Senior Civil & Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the design and construction of concrete, steel, and precast structural systems for industrial projects.
• Responsible for the design, tendering, and construction management of Civil &Structural works for industrial facility projects.
• The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project deliverables, and ensuring compliance with local authority requirements.
• Support project delivery within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Prepare, issue, and evaluate tender packages and subcontract documentation.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying teams.
• Resolve design-related site issues and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Civil & Structural engineers.
• Ensure timely submissions and approvals from local authorities.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and engineering trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is advantageous).
• Experience in industrial building projects, including reinforced concrete, steel, precast structures, and long-span roof trusses.
• Knowledge of piling, substructure, and superstructure works.
• Experience in tendering, detailed design, shop drawing reviews, and multidisciplinary project coordination.
• Familiarity with local authority submission requirements and international codes is an advantage.
• ·Willingness to travel when required.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in structural design software such as STAAD. Pro, Prokon, Orion, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of Civil & Structural engineering principles and construction methodologies.
