Civil Engineer (Renewable Energy Projects)

Job Overview
We are seeking a Civil / Design Engineer to support and/or lead the civil engineering aspects of renewable energy and energy storage projects. Depending on experience, the successful candidate will be hired at either Junior or Senior level.

This role involves close collaboration with Civil &Structural (C&S) consultants, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the successful execution of engineering designs and construction works. You will be part of a growing team delivering impactful sustainability projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with Civil & Structural (C&S) consultants to develop structural schemes and perform engineering analyses
• Design and review civil engineering works including site development, drainage systems, earthworks, and infrastructure
• Oversee and/or support project execution, ensuring alignment with design specifications and timelines
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards, including BCA and SCDF requirements
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project delivery
• Attend project meetings and site visits, providing technical input and resolving engineering issues
• Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation such as drawings, reports, and specifications
• Promote and ensure adherence to safety standards across all project phases

Requirements

For Junior Engineers:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates with strong internship experience may be considered)
• Basic knowledge of construction processes and local regulations (BCA, SCDF)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools

For Senior Engineers:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in civil/structural design, consultancy, or construction
• Strong knowledge of Singapore regulations and approval processes
• Experience in project coordination and stakeholder management

For All Candidates:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is preferred to liaise with regional stakeholders
• Willingness to travel overseas (including China and regional project sites)

Additional Information

• Experience in renewable energy or energy storage projects will be an advantage
