Civil QA/QC Engineer

We are a leading engineering and construction company based in Singapore. With multifaceted project management capabilities and a strong diverse workforce, we provide a full range of services in engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance of power and industrial plants across the world.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and monitor subcontractors' work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and codes where applicable
• Maintain work performance records, inspection records and other related items
• Coordinate QC inspection schedules with clients and other relevant parties
• Conduct internal/external quality control audits
• Control all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial actions
• Develop and prepare work method statements
• Prepare weekly and monthly QA/QC reports
• Participate in QA/QC meetings with client, subcontractors and project team
• Any other duties to be assigned from time to time

Pre-requisites:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in power or industrial plant construction projects
• Strong knowledge of QC inspection standards, procedures and applicable codes
• Independent, meticulous and organized
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Strong commitment to safety
• Willingness to work extended hours when required and adaptable to construction site conditions
• Project location: Jurong Island (Transport will be provided at designated pick-up points)
