CONSTRUCTION CARPENTER

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood, plywood, and other construction materials.
• Construct and install formwork, partitions, doors, windows, ceilings, flooring, roofing, and other structural components.
• Build and dismantle timber formwork, scaffolding, and temporary structures as required.
• Repair, maintain, and replace damaged wooden structures and fittings.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all carpentry works are completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
• Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on site.
• Follow all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Load, unload, and handle construction materials and equipment.
• Report material shortages, defects, or safety concerns to the Site Supervisor.
• Perform other carpentry and construction-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Site Supervisor.
