Construction General Foreman

We are seeking an experienced construction general foreman to lead and coordinate daily site operations for building and civil engineering projects. The role is responsible for ensuring all site activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications, quality standards, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
The successful candidate must be hands-on, able to lead large site teams, and ensure smooth coordination between workers, subcontractors, and site management to achieve project targets.


Key Responsibilities
·      Lead and supervise daily site operations including rebar works, formwork installation, concreting, lifting coordination, and other heavy construction activities.
· Coordinate and manage manpower, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to meet project schedules and milestones.
· Interpret construction drawings, method statements, and work instructions, and guide site teams accordingly.
· Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and WSH regulations.
· Monitors site progress, productivity, workmanship quality, and material usage to ensure efficient operations.
· Conduct daily site inspections and ensure prompt rectification of unsafe practices, defects, or non-compliance issues.
· Coordinate closely with engineers, supervisors, project managers, and consultants to resolve technical and operational matters.
· Plan and allocate resources effectively to minimize delays, downtime, and wastage.
· Prepared daily progress reports and reported site issues, risks, and delays to management.
· Verify workers’ attendance and endorse timesheets for submission to HR.
·      Lead, supervise, and motivate workers to maintain discipline, productivity, and safety awareness on site.



Requirements
· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in building, civil, or infrastructure construction projects.
· At least 1–2 years in a foreman or site leadership role.
· Strong hands-on knowledge in reinforcement works, formwork systems, concreting, and general site operations.
· Experience supervising multinational site teams is required.
· Overseas or Middle East project experience will be an advantage.
· Physically fit and able to work in demanding outdoor construction environments.
· Willing to work extended hours, weekends, night shifts, and public holidays as required.
· Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills on site.
