Job Description - construction machinery mechanic

  • Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and servicing production machineries, equipment, systems and infrastructures mechanically.
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
  • Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs of machines breakdown.
  • Responsible for using the 5 why analysis tool to analyse the root cause of the breakdown.
  • Responsible for ensuring that machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably.
  • Minimize the machine downtime.
  • To be able to perform Preventive and Predictive TPM
  • Responsible for maintaining the working environment safe and clean by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Ensure breakdown are attended to immediately and root cause determined with rectification.
  • Responsible to submit improvement project (Kaizen).
  • Responsible for maintaining the working environment safe and clean by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Responsible for maintaining the continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
