Key Responsibilities
Leads project planning and scheduling to ensure construction works are completed on time and in line with contractual milestones and project objectives.
Prepare tender submissions, including planning deliverables, method statements, construction work sequences, and site work planning, across multiple tenders concurrently.
Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, identifying risks or delays, and provide planning support to project management using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
Develop and maintain the master project schedule, including the Work Breakdown Structure and critical path activities.
Monitor project progress, update schedules, and perform variance analysis to identify delays and recommend recovery plans.
Coordinate planning between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Plan and develop construction resources such as manpower and equipment to optimise productivity.
Prepare tender briefings, construction methodology studies, and provide schedule updates to management and clients.
Lead and guide Planning Engineers while ensuring planning standards and procedures are followed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field recognized by the PE Board
Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience in project planning and management for large-scale building projects, including construction planning and scheduling
Strong proficiency in Programming Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, and familiar with Corenet X Submission Gateways requirement.
Strong understanding of construction productivity, sequencing, site execution methodologies, and project controls
Experience in delay analysis and programme risk management.
Familiar with Singapore authority requirements and project environment
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Able to work under tight timelines and manage multiple project tenders.
Familiar with and experienced in work productivity.
