Construction Project Engineer

• Responsible to handle projects independently
• Resolve any technical difficulties and other problems that may arise in site or project
• To ensure project implementation and completion within stipulated time, cost and quality
• Identify problems with project, taking lead on developing solutions
• Liaise with clients/consultants/architects concerning approval of plans and drawings, acceptance of work, progress of work, problem solving, etc
• Attend site meetings and inspections, report regularly on progress and monitor project schedule
• Update As-Built Drawings
• Testing and Commissioning of the completed installations with Customers/Consultants/Sub-Contractors
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree, Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as Project manager in commercial, residential or governmental projects
• Ability to work independently and well under pressure to meet crucial deadlines
• Highly organized with effective time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while paying attention to details
• Good interpersonal skills, motivated and team player who can work across teams
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Willingness to work overtime or weekend when required
• Speaks English and Mandarin
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Class 3/3A driving license will be an added advantage
