Job Description& Requirements
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee roadworks and drainage infrastructure projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing project activities to ensure timely completion, quality compliance, workplace safety, and cost control. The role requires strong leadership skills and extensive experience in civil engineering projects involving road construction, drainage systems, utility coordination, and stakeholder management.
Requirement
· Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
· Minimum5 years of relevant project management experience in roadworks, drainage, andcivil infrastructure projects in Singapore.
· Familiarity with LTA, PUB, and other local authority requirements and standards.
· Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, and contract administration.
· Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and project stakeholders.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and other project management software.
· Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
· Possession of a Class 3 driving licence will be an advantage
Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage roadworks, drainage, and related civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
· Develop project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation strategies.
· Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, specifications, and project milestones.
· Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities.
· Manage project budgets, cost control measures, and procurement activities.
· Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety standards.
· Review engineering drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and technical submissions.
· Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures to minimize delays and cost overruns.
· Conduct regular site meetings and prepare progress reports for management and clients.
· Resolve technical, operational, and contractual issues arising during project execution.
· Ensure quality assurance and quality control requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
· Registered or accredited professional qualifications relevant to civil engineering or project management.
· Experience in public sector infrastructure projects.
· Knowledge of utility diversion, traffic management, and drainage improvement works.
