Construction Project/Site Engineer

Evergreen 96 Design Construction Pte Ltd is a small but growing Singapore construction and renovation company specializing in residential, commercial and industrial projects, including A&A works, HIP, renovations, repairs and maintenance.

We are looking for a hands-on, proactive and responsible Project / Site Engineer to manage projects from planning to completion. The successful candidate should be able to work independently, solve site issues, coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants where required, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and supervise construction and renovation projects from commencement to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress, quality, safety and compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Review construction drawings, identify technical issues and propose practical solutions.
• Prepare project schedules, progress reports and attend site meetings.
• Prepare tender submissions, source quotations and assists with procurement and cost control where required.
• Review contract requirements and ensure project works are carried out in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Support daily site operations, manpower coordination and material planning.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience managing construction or renovation projects in Singapore.
• Able to independently manage project/site activities with minimal supervision.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices, safety requirements and site coordination.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, organized and able to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline recognized by BCA/PEB.
• Possess BCSS and/or CSOC certification.
• Experience with GeBIZ and/or SAP Ariba tender submissions.
• Experience in contract administration and basic cost control.
• BizSafe Level 2 (Risk Management) certification is an advantage.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
• Experience in A&A, renovation and small to medium-sized construction projects will be an advantage.
• Experience as a Technical Controller (TC) will be an added advantage.
