Job Description - Construction Supervisor

Oversee day-to-day on-site activitiesand delegate tasks to construction workers and subcontractors.
Orders materials and equipment andtakes care of the necessary permits.
Accomplishes construction humanresource objectives by selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Assesses safety and finance goals.
Manages sub-contractors by locating,evaluating, and selecting contractors.
Meets operational standards bycontributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews.
Meets construction budget bymonitoring project expenditures.
Track project timelines, adjustschedules for delays, and manage the delivery and inventory of constructionmaterials.
Provide regular updates to ProjectManagers and clients regarding site progress, budget, and any unforeseen issues
Accomplishes construction projectresults by defining project purpose and scope.
Approves construction projects byconducting inspections at critical phases.
Prevents fines and work interruptionsby complying with, and enforcing, codes.
Maintains a safe, secure, and healthywork environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures.
