construction supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Construction Supervisor to supervise and coordinate daily site activities, workers, subcontractors, and construction operations. The candidate will ensure that works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, schedules, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction site activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate and monitor workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site resources.
• Ensure construction works are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Plan daily manpower deployment and site work arrangements.
• Conduct site inspections and report work progress to the Project Manager / Site Manager.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations.
• Identify site issues, delays, or defects and assist in resolving them promptly.
• Maintain proper site records, attendance, progress updates, and work reports.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Attend site meetings when required and coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities.

Requirements

• Minimum relevant experience in construction site supervision.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, site coordination, and work sequencing.
• Able to manage workers and subcontractors effectively.
• Good understanding of Singapore construction site safety requirements.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willing to work on-site and overtime when required.
• Relevant construction certificates, safety certificates, or technical qualifications will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Site supervision experience in building, civil, structural, or renovation works.
• Knowledge of WSH regulations and safe work procedures.
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate site works independently.
• Experience handling foreign workers and subcontractors.
