CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

Job Description:

• Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and arrangement
• Responsible for the supervision and coordination of works at construction site
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with health and safety standards in order to provide high-quality works in efficient manner.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety provision at site working area
• Ensure the construction works completed within schedule
• Able to perform first aid in emergencies and report to construction manager, safety supervisor and office admin immediately
• Arrange and record attendance of workers and submit to office staff
• Assess and determine risks and conduct regular inspections in order to maintain a safety environment
• Work closely and report to the construction manager
• Supervise workers during the project execution
• Resolve all site related issues included work injury issue and report to management immediately
• Manage issues associated with workers in all aspects as well as work closely with admin on worker related issue
• As an intermediary between workers and company as well as main-contractor to make an effective communication
• Arrange and attend meeting and prepare documents required
• Undertake any other duties assigned by management from time to time

Job Requirement:

• At least 10 years of working experience in construction industry as construction supervisor experience
• Knowledgeable and experienced in electrical, plumbing works
• Able to interpreting construction drawing
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Posses certificate in relevant industry is a plus
• Able to work under sun exposure hazard environment in construction site
• Need to hands-on
• Ability to solve conflict and crisis management
• Detailed, independent and possesses leadership skills
• Able to face challenging tasks and meet high standards and deadlines
• Familiar with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices
• Required to travel between different workplaces
• Able to attend to emergency call due to project and works needs beyond office hours
